Blog #5 Camera Angles

Welcome back, and today we have a topic just as important as Camera Shots, camera angles! They compliment each-other as PB&J and these camera angles would not exist without their complimentary shots.

Here are the camera angles:

High Angle, This angle is typically used to show a dynamic of power or give a broader view of the subject in the picture. In this case I used a high angle to allow for  y smaller subject to be viewed from a better angle to see the entire outfit.

Low angle, The low angle is usually used to display strength or power. In this case I took this photos with the intention of being looked down upon by the two subjects, instilling a power dynamic.

Canted angles, these angles are used in film to represent a twisted view of the subject or warp the feeling of the scene. This photo highlights my subject drinking something and I used this angle to offer ambiguity to what she is actually drinking.
